With ski skins and touring equipment we make our way up the mountain in beautiful spring sunlight. The snow is just about to melt into perfect condition. At the summit we rip the skins off and have a great ski run down again. Come join us on this ski touring introduction course.
Ski Touring Course for Beginners
For those of you who have never tried to go on a ski touring trip, or if you want a good repetition, this is the perfect one-day course. You will learn about how the equipment works, how to easily get up on the mountain and what to think about when you are out on the mountain.
This course is great if you do not really know if ski touring is something you want to start with – we make sure that you get a fun start and together we prove that it is not as difficult as it may sound. It is probably the best type of skiing to be done and can be done almost anywhere. Be prepared for a day filled to the brim of new impressions, tips and techniques to make you more confident when ski touring

Starting location:
This course is offered all over Jämtland, for example in Åre, Bydalen, Storlien, Storulvån, Snasahögarna and even south in Härjedalen to Vemdalen, Björnrike, Tänndalen/Funäsdalen.
Difficulty and prerequisites:
It is good if you have skied easier off-piste earlier. Be prepared for a long day in the mountains and sometimes rough weather. You should have normal fitness.

Please mention if you are allergic to something, have special dietary needs, or take medication for anything on a regular basis when booking. Also make sure your insurance covers this activity and that your equipment is in good condition.
